The Landmarks Preservation Commission approved a proposal for an adaptive reuse of the 28 Liberty plaza. There will be ground floor retail and majpr changes to the plaza that should bring a lot of it back to its former glory.

  • Retail Space

28 Liberty began demolition process for the 200,000 square feet of retail space. The project will replace a portion of the existing black granite walls at street level with glass facades to engage pedestrian traffic and open sight lines to create a more dynamic visual experience.
